Ball Anyone?

Almost time to play a little ball with Vlad.  He's really anxious so I'm going to get this post out, and go toss one of his many yellow tennis balls for him in just a few.



WORKOUT

When I got home from work, I had a handful of peanuts because for some reason I was really hungry!  Then, I hit the treadmill for a run/walk routine.  I did 40 minutes (25 minute run and 15 minute walk).  And, I ran again at 6.8 mph.  LOVE IT! :D  I also did my strength training exercises for about 10 minutes.  If you want to know my full fitness routine, and the specific exercises I do in the strength training portion of my workout, check out my FITNESS tab.  Today I finished up the third disc of the 1st season of Ghost Whisperer.  I can't wait for more!  Things are getting good too.  There's an evil spirit stalking her now... crazy!

DINNER

Tonight I made boneless, center cut pork chops, steamed veggies, and Barilla multigrain noodles with Classico Four Cheese alfredo sauce.  I also added some sauteed mushrooms to my noodles.  YUM! 

I put some white wine, a little bit of extra virgin olive oil, some onion powder, black pepper, and a couple spashes of low sodium soy sauce on the chops to marinade.


I grilled the pork chops on low heat for about 10 minutes.  OMG!  They came out so juicy and tender, and they had GREAT flavor.  GRILLING ROCKS!


Have I mentioned before that I love mushrooms???  I sauteed them in just a tablespoon of Smart Balance.


What a great dinner!  I'm so liking that we're eating pork chops now!



As I'm typing, I'm enjoying a nice cup of Yogi tea.  It's time to play with the pup though.  Gonna read a little New Yorker while I toss the ball.  Have a great night!
