Some Tidbits About Me and My Family:

~ I was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana (about 45 minutes south of New Orleans), but I hate sea food!  As my Louisiana relatives like to say "nothing from the sea for Angie."

~ I moved to Fayetteville, NC (and then Hope Mills, NC) when I was 11 years old.  I went to Hope Mills Junior High School (grades 7-9), and South View High School (grades 10-12).

~ In high school, I was in the Show Choir and I was a member of our band's Color Guard (or Drill Team as it's know in some places.)

~ My college town was Greenville, NC where I went to East Carolina University (ECU).  I majored in Psychology and English Literature, and minored in Biology.

~ I met my husband, Carl, in college at ECU - I was a sophomore and he was a senior.

~ Carl moved to Wisconsin in 1999 to take a position at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, and I followed him to WI in 2001, when I graduated from college.  Yes, we had a long distance relationship for almost two years, and we made it!

~ I went to graduate school for Applied Psychology at University of Wisconsin - Stout (in Menomonie, WI).  My concentration was in Human Resource Management.  I've had position in HR at Target, United Way, and now at Ruder Ware Law Firm - all in Eau Claire, WI.

~ Carl and I got married in 2004.  We don't have any children, but we do have our black lab, Vlad, who we treat like our child.  He is such a cutie!

~ My husband, Carl, is a real estate agent with Edina Realty here in Eau Claire.

~ Carl and I both currently live in Altoona, WI (about 2 minutes away from Eau Claire).  Our families live on the East Coast (my family in NC, and his in PA), though Carl's parents are in the process of moving to Chippewa Falls, WI (about 15 minutes from Eau Claire and Altoona).

~ Carl and I both enjoy going to concerts at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, MN, Minnesota Wild hockey games, hanging out in coffee shops/cafes, reading books/magazines, taking Vlad on hikes in the woods, eating at new restaurants, and anything to do with fitness and living a healthy life style.

~ Other interests of mine are reading mystery and thriller books, anything about ghosts and the paranormal, art, history, current events, fashion, listening to podcasts, writing/jounaling, and finding and trying out fun and easy recipes that are healthy.
